9 Month Check-Up

Ashlin had her nine month check up on Friday and here are her stats!

27.25 inches long
18 in head circumference
All in the 75th percentile!

She is crawling, pulling up on any and everything, clapping, waving, and can say dada, mama, hi, and bye-bye (although she won't always do it on demand)! She totally watches everything her sister does, and wants to make sure that mommy and daddy see everything she does. She will even pull up, then sit back down, then look at us and clap for herself! I'm glad she has no issues with self confidence!

Mary is also growing by leaps and bounds. She knows all her uppercase and some of her lowercase letters. She will even point out letters she recognizes as we read. She has started having one to one matching when she counts and will ask for a specific number of something (like crackers) when she wants a snack. The other day she wanted 2puffs. I gave them to her and she said, no 3 puffs. This went on and on till we got to 10! She can count to 20 with no mistakes, but the other day she was counting 24, 25, 26... I cannot wait to see what she will do next. We are now working on letter sounds and matching. And she loves the iPad app, I Write Words. You can make and form letters and words. I love watching the wheels in her head turning!
